#FreeRealityWinner - A Deep Dive Conversation with David Dark

 

David Dark is an author and speaker, who has leveraged his online platforms to faithfully advocate for a former NSA operative named Reality Winner, who was imprisoned for sharing classified information with The Intercept that showed there was Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election to benefit Donald Trump.

Despite most (if not all) of the information that Reality Winner shared with the media being corroborated since then by other media outlets and now being in the public domain, Reality Winner continues to serve out her prison sentence — the longest ever imposed in federal court for an unauthorized release of government information to the media.

Now, with the coronavirus pandemic ravaging prisons and detention centers, David Dark, Reality Winner’s family, and other supporters are calling for her and all other nonviolent offenders to be released from custody for their health and safety. Reality herself has underlying health conditions that make her particularly susceptible to contracting the virus. So far, she has been denied release.
